Queen Elizabeth II 21 April 1926 - 8 Sept 2022

For millions of us Brits at home and abroad, this is a very personal moment. Difficult perhaps for non-Brits to understand when we are speaking of someone that we have never had the privilege to meet,  but still feel it as a very personal loss. In the same way that Churchill inspired the nation in their darkest hour, Queen Elizabeth has been an ongoing inspiration during the past seven decades of her reign during difficult economic and emotionally exhausting times. During the COVID pandemic she was the voice of the nation, telling people that we would get through this. Even as we celebrate her as a sovereign and a woman for whom duty was her calling, we must all look to the future, as she asked us to do and support our new King and his Queen Consort as they assume their new roles as heads of state.

About Boynton Angels in Action

Boynton Angels in Action began providing support to families in the heart of Boynton Beach. One of the objectives was to help address the hunger needs in the community, so they opened a food pantry and now support families by providing food on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. They are a volunteer group connected with Boynton Beach faith-based Community Development Corporation.
